When you open a new QWEST telephone account, QWEST may ask for, but you are NOT required to provide, your social security number. We never see data you provide through our links to third party vendors. 

Any data collected for our records, and all communications over user's accounts are held privately and never sold or rented.  However, we comply with court orders, subpoenas, and other lawful requests for information about accounts by government agencies and the court system.
